To anyone interested in obtaining a personal health insurance plan:

I have been an independent health insurance agent for over 11 years, and have helped thousands of people obtain insurance. My specialty is working with people who need personal insurance. It is often advantageous to acquire a personal health plan while accepting a job with higher pay, especially if the pay increase is at least $5 per hour. While personal health insurance plans do not guarantee coverage for everyone, I can typically find a company who will accept your entire family. In some cases, one or more members of a family with health problems may need to do COBRA or HIPUtah, while the rest of the family can be insured on a personal plan. Humana and Assurant "work best for clients who do not plan on having more children and who want a high-deductible HSA plan".
I also work with various plans which offer supplemental insurance to cover hospital expenses such as maternity. Since personal health insurance plans do not cover maternity expenses very well, if you plan on having children in the future, please let me know 3 months prior to any pregnancy. AFLAC and Conseco offer hospital supplement plans which work great for maternity expenses.

In addition to health insurance and maternity plans, I can also offer other types of insurance products such as dental, disability, life, Medicare Supplements, annuities, long-term care, etc.

Please send all health applications to me, otherwise you will typically be assigned an agent that you do not know.
